Signs
On for business of for pleasure. |
All
our magnetic signs are produced using highest quality 0.85mm vehicle grade
gloss magnetic sheeting.
Magnetic signs will stick to
any flat ferrous material, be it the side of a vehicle, or a steel panel.
One of the benefits of magnetic
signs for your vehicles is that they can be quickly and easily removed
and reapplied, again and again. This enables any vehicle to be transformed
in seconds from a moving advertisement for your business to private sign-free
transport and back again as often as you like. If you run more than one
business, then using magnetic signs gives you the option of changing the
signs depending on what you are doing.

They are very simple to apply,
though they do require you to keep both the surface where you are sticking
them to and the back of the signs clean.
They are rated at 70mph so
if you want to bomb down the motorway, then it is a good idea to remove
your magnetic signs before you set of.
Application Tips for
Magnetic Signs:
The back of the magnetic
sign and metal surface should be clean and dry. If you are using your
magnetic signs on vehicles, it helps if the metal surface has be waxed.
Magnetic Sheeting holds best
to flat surfaces and surfaces with slight curves.
It is better to position the top edge of the sign whilst holding the
rest of the sign away from the surface, then when that is aligned, just
allow the sign to stick from the top to the bottom.
If your magnetic signs are placed in the wrong position, remove the
sign completely and then realign. Make sure the entire magnet is against
the metal surface.
Do not apply magnetic signs to newly repainted surfaces, give them a
chance to harden and wax them before applying the signs.
Looking
after your magnetic signs:
It is important to wipe
off the area you will be placing the magnetic sign on with a soft damp
cloth to remove any loose dirt that might be there and then dry it.
Also wipe off the back side of the sign before applying it. If both
surfaces are clean and dry, then you should have no problems getting
a good strong bond between the magnetic and the vehicle.
Under normal conditions,
your signs need removing from the vehicle and both surfaces cleaning
once a week, in severe weather conditions, it is a good idea to spend
a couple of minutes cleaning them daily.
It is a good idea to remove
them of when you put your vehicle through the automated car wash
When your magnetic signs
are not in use, it is important to store them flat, ideally stuck to
the side of a filing cabinet or the inside of a garage metal door, you
can for short term storage also carefully roll them up with the sign
surface to the outside and slip them inside a protective cardboard tube.
If you look after your magnetic
sign properly then you will get many years of service out of them.
